Join us at the 2019 SCRA Biennial Conference

The Global Alliance is again partnering with the Society for Community Research and Action (SCRA) to sponsor a track at SCRA's Biennial in Chicago. 

SCRA's 17th Biennial is being hosted by National Louis University from June 26th-29th, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois.

Making an Impact 

Ecological Praxis: System Complexity, Cycles of Action, and Extending our Metaphors with the Natural World 

Submit an Abstract

The portal for submitting an abstract is open.  Instructions for submitting abstracts are available on SCRA's website.  

Deadline Extended! Abstracts will be accepted until Saturday, December 1st, 2018, 11:55 p.m. (EST).  We encourage you to submit abstracts to the Global Alliance track on any topics related to behavioral health and social justice, however we are especially interested in the following topics: 

  • LGBTQ2/Gender and Sexual Minorities (GSM) human rights and advocacy;
  • Migration/immigration, displacement, and Globalization;
  • Social determinants of health with an emphasis on mental health; 
  • Multiculturalism, Indigenous rights, and racial justice
  • Collaboratively advancing well-being of vulnerable communities through innovative prevention and wellness programs.   

All presenters must register for the conference and pay registration fees.  

 

Not a member of SCRA?  

Not to worry!  You can still submit an abstract.  After reviewing the abstract submission portal, email [email protected] to set up an account.
